Dr Webber is one of Queensland's highest-volume implant surgeons and one of the state's leading users of Nobel Biocare implants,  the world's most trusted implant system, backed by over 40 years of clinical research. If you are missing one or more teeth, dental implants are the closest thing to replacing them permanently and naturally.

What are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a small titanium screw placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth. Because titanium is biocompatible, the implant fuses with the surrounding bone — a process called osseointegration — creating a stable, permanent anchor for a crown, bridge, or denture.

Implants can be used to replace a single tooth, multiple teeth, or support a full arch restoration. Unlike dentures, they do not move, slip, or require adhesives. Unlike bridges, they do not require cutting down adjacent healthy teeth.

What are the advantages of Dental Implants?

- The closest thing to a natural tooth:  looks, feels, and functions like the real thing
- A long-term solution: with proper care, implants can last a lifetime
- Preserves jawbone: implants stimulate the bone and prevent the deterioration that follows tooth loss
- Maintains your facial structure: missing teeth cause the face to sink and sag over time
- No more loose dentures: implants can permanently stabilise upper and lower dentures
- More predictable than other restorative options

WHO IS A CANDIDATE?

Anyone missing one or more teeth due to injury, decay, or disease may be a candidate for dental implants. The key determining factor is the volume of available bone. Where bone has been lost, Dr Webber also performs bone grafting and sinus lift procedures to create the foundation needed for successful implant placement.

IMPLANT OPTIONS AT GOLD COAST OMS

Dr Webber offers the full spectrum of implant solutions:

- Single tooth implants
- Multiple tooth implants and implant-supported bridges
- All-on-4:  a full arch of teeth supported by just four implants, often placed and restored in a single day
- Implant overdentures: implant-retained upper or lower dentures for improved stability

Your implant consultation

Your initial consultation with Dr Webber takes approximately 30 minutes. He will assess your mouth both clinically and radiologically, and where needed, a 3D Cone Beam CT scan will be taken to precisely measure your available bone volume. For your convenience, our Gold Coast consulting rooms have a 3D scanner on-site, no separate appointment required.

From there, Dr Webber and his team will map out a clear, cost-effective treatment plan tailored to your situation, coordinating closely with your general dentist or specialist restorative dentist throughout the process to ensure the best possible aesthetic and functional outcome.

Despite being a specialist surgical practice, Dr Webber's fees are highly competitive.
